🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Sisters Hand-Tinted Photographic Portrait

Not mine but I am curious if someone may know who these three are.
Oval-shaped framed domed photographic portrait featuring three women, sisters. The photograph appears to be hand-tinted, with colour accents applied to their clothing, jewelry, and background.
The frame is an ornate metal design with floral embellishments on its border. Domed oval-shaped frame is 20" x 15 3/4" and by its style which may give a time frame.
The reverse features a solid gold-toned back panel. All thought welcome ........ Thanks in advance...

Can’t help on the pic but there’s not much doubt those are sisters!

Hand-tinted means it was black and white first. So that dates it before color film was used. The type of backing the image is on may help date it a little closer. If it's metal, it's earlier than paper.

I heard the other day that you can do image searches on Ancestry now. If you don't have an account, perhaps visit your local library as they might have it on their computers.

Thanks Almy, the old frame & back are metal and from what I could find online this is more than likely 19th century...

I meant the material the image itself is on, not the backing of the frame. There may be a clearer name for it, but I couldn't remember it and still can't. Earliest material used is glass, then metal and later paper. Once you identify that backing, you can look up the date range it was used.
