After having searched through $7,110 worth of dimes, I figured I'd get a Whitman Coin book (1946-1964 Dimes). I'm going to make it my goal to fill it by the end of the year! To the right is my "Most Wanted" List to help keep track of my progress. I want all of my finds to be from CRHing, so I won't be purchasing any of them. Here goes nothing! :headbang:

Boxes 1-6 came from one bank, 7-10 from a second, and Box 11 from a third...and it showed...pretty sure this is the most boxes I've done in a single day. Had to combine Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

Gonna drive to my hometown tomorrow where I did the majority of my 2013 hunting. Maybe I can get a few boxes on Saturday.

Good to hunt the old stomping grounds again. Good to see the 0.98 FDRs per box average is still holding up.

Dimes
$4915 (19.66 boxes) - 19 FDRs and 1 Merc

Notable: 1953 Canadian 10 Cents

Nice bounce-back week after two consecutive weeks of less than 10 FDRs. I also broke the $100K dime volume mark for 2019, something I wasn't able to do in 2013 when I came up $1500 short.

Total Ag: 1.507 oz

***CORRECTION***

I think I must be getting sloppy here lately...or it could have been stuck in the machine, but I don't think so. Went to the coin counter today. There was an unusually large amount of debris inside, although I didn't see any coins. Got several dimes rejected, including a 1953 Canadian (too slick to ID a variant). I'm adding it to last week's stats.

Had an ender on Saturday that I was able to show family. Today I had 4 enders (3 FDRs, 1 Fin coin), all from two boxes. Was really hoping the '54 ender was going to be an 'S'. Thought it'd be a cool way to cut it to just 2 FDRs left to find, but we'll have to wait a bit longer.

My first ever British Pound coin...pretty cool.

Nice finds, but be wary of older Brit pound coins. There are over 30 million counterfeits.

Sleepy: glad to see the results, and yet not polished. Works real good on old wheat cents also, without any rubbing or scrubbing. Thanks for seeing the pic.

Wow...what date range are you talking?

Pretty much the entire run, before the bimetallic version was introduced. There are plenty of sites that describe how to spot the fakes.

Sleepy: since you have shown so much volume in dime boxes, what would you say is your percentage of SKUNK boxes vs total boxes? I just was wondering if it's as high as the guys that hunt halves.

Really just a workman type of week. That's 15 or more FDRs in 8 of the last 11 weeks. We're on pace for a new find on or around January 17th.

9 FDRs and a Canadian oldie...not a bad day. The KGVI came in the same roll as the '54, so two days in a row of finding a multi-silver roll. This is my 2nd ever KGVI Canadian 10 Cents coin. Also, caught a 1993S clad proof at the coin counter before I dumped it.
