I thought when I dug this it was a piece of spanish silver but was not sure, so I posted it in the what is it forum and several members agree that is what it is, so it is a cool piece of history. Found it in a farm field where a one room school house used to be, hunted for 2.5 hours today, froze my butt off and no coins, tokens or buttons were found. Glad I found this!
