Box of halves #278 produced a 71 proof, 87d, a 65 and a 68d

Box # 279 only had a 73 proof

$245 in loose halves came up empty.

Oh well, you can't win if you don't play; and that's five more keepers than I had the day before.

I feel ya. ;)

When my boxes come it at all, they are very slim lately as well. My last two yeilded - nothing and 1 1964, 1 1968 and a NIFC 2003. Must not be as many good coins coming in to the banks.

HH.

try spreading out your dump banks,
quite a few of them have a no bag sell policy so when its full it goes too the fed, if your getting your own boxes back and what other customers have been putting in when there change goes into a machine this explains why some boxes are slim to none.

The more halves that are spent in the community a number will get deposited around, some of those bags may only be 2 or 3 halves away from being full and going too the fed for reroll, who knows whats in there!!! also if you make sure your dumps are smaller amounts say $300 each, it does not fill a bag and does not make for as many skunk boxes

So dump at some new banks or other banks and spend halves on local businesses to absorb some and get some to banks that you may not want to dump at. :)
I have gotten quite a few of my own searched halves back and seen the same damaged halves and a couple cheesy tokens back over and over but they still keep producing small bits of silver.
