Had a chance to head out with two fellow TN members for a farm hunt. The new owner gave us a tour of the farm and filled us in with his local history knowledge. We hit the fields for a while, and soon after we were called inside for a delicious lunch. The hosts were awesome, the pickings, judge for yourselves:

64' qt, lead seal, enormous flat button, and a mystery coin/token with "10" on it.

Thanks to EastCoastHunter21 for the connection, and it was a pleasure meeting Steve.
Any ID leads on that tiny "10" coin will be greatly appreciated.

happy Hunting :)

No clue on the 10 coin, But looks like an awesome day of digging

BARTEK YOU GOT SOME DANG GOOD ONES THERE ...

pretty sure the aluminum '10' coin is play money. looks like you can also faintly see the word 'play' on the back

Thanks for your feedback. I can't make out "play" on the back. Looks like older style.

Congrats on pulling that silver quarter. I think that coin may be play money. What is it made of?

token looks homemade.perhaps poker chip etc punch stamped aluminum disc

That is one huge flat button! Plus, it has a cool design on it, which makes it even nicer. Great find!

Really neat finds; you've covered my favorites...flat buttons, silver coins, and readable lead seals! Where are you hiding the gold coins! Not sure about the 10 coin. Play money/coins are usually very thin and very light (Al).

Don't know anything about flat buttons, but that is a nice one. Can't wait to find my first. Nice seal and silver too!

Nice silver quarter! But I love that flat button! Congrats HH

Nice Digs Bart. Nice flat button! Did you dig that in the afternoon after you got back to the farm? It was great meeting you for a hunt and we even got a sit down lunch! Awesome.

Yes the big button was dug in the afternoon, but we took a ride up the street to the corner where the old tavern stood, that's where the flat button appeared. Great meeting you as well, hope to hunt together again!
