Sliver ring I can fit THREE fingers in!!!???

I was trying out my new Eclipse 5.3 coil in the trashiest area
of my back field where the old homeowner kept and repaired
junk cars. Now I was picking through the junk and got a good
signal, only to be surprised to dig a brass ring. No big deal.
Later I was talking to Civilman and I noticed a spot on the
ring that looked awful light to be brass. I started cleaning it
with, what Civil reminded me as my cleaner of choice, Gatorade.
After a 10 minute soak



This is what I got!!! Marked "ITALY".
Check out the ring FINGERS it fits.

I do not have a clue, MM.
With all jokes aside, I have never seen a silver ring with
that diameter. I'm afraid to post it in the Whatsits, for
fear that another post would go down the "rocky" road.

That's a mystery, my thoughts is that if might be something off of a show saddle for showing horses.

Are you sure it's silver? Aluminum perhaps?

If it's aluminum then there's a real good chance it came off one of those old cars the original property owner worked on back there. I have no idea what it could be used for. It's definitely a great find.

I'd put it in the whatsit section. There are some pretty clever people over there.
