Very nice! Looks like a "shingling hatchet" or a "roofers hatchet". If you end up doing electrolysis on it, you will most likely find a nail notch on the bottom of the blade. Great find, that are always fun to dig and preserve.

Thanks for the help. I'll soak it in some evap-o rust and then some gimblers to try and clean it up.
