Went back to the big tavern site. I always find something at this site even after hitting it hundreds of times, and yesterday was no exception. I dug what appeared to be a cooked button but when I spun it in my finger tips a chunk of the black chipped away revealing a silver date, 1782. My first 1 Reale and my third silver from this site. The last pic is a 1695, 4 Reale cob, the rarest denomination of any given year. My new 1782 1 Reale, and a 1785 1/2 Reale. It felt really good rescuing that little old colonial. Arty

Spanish silvers are lookin ' mighty fine , Arty . Tavern sites are the absolute finest places to search! I call them, "Coin Heaven"
