Measures - 3" H x 2" W x .75" D.
Release or mechanism on lower left.
Google lens kept telling me with some sort of rifle cleaning kit ? I thought maybe matches or tobacco. Any thoughts or positive ID?

Flashlight. Bottom flap is the battery cover, hole in the top is where the bulb goes, and the on/off switch is on the side.
