Hey folks. Found this today. Rang up as 11:37 on the etrac. Came from the same field as the 1700's coins. I think it's actually Victorian but not too sure. It is indeed silver. Got the hinge working with an olive oil soak and some WD-40. I have no clue lol. Also, this little button that I thought was a pistol ball at first. Would I be close in thinking it's also Victorian? Thanks in advance.

I think that rather than being a bottle itself, it is the neck fastener and cap portion of a silver embellished bottle which was likely a glass perfume bottle. Note in this search, down a bit, there is one much like yours (dug) now separated from the bottle from which it came: antique victorian bottle silver hinged lid - Google Search
The listing for that item appears not to be active any more, but the seller seems to have speculated that it was from a cruet... I disagree.

As usual, Ben is right on. Late 19th C perfume bottle top.
