Got a pretty good dumping of snow last night, and along with that
the river turns what I call "Snow Green". It's a deep emerald green,
and as long as it stays cold the water will become super clear.
Shot this from the back deck..
While not as chilly as it is at Cariboo's house, we've had a few nights
in single digits so I had to come up with a way to keep the hummingbird
feeder from freezing up.
Best idea I could come up with, and the hummingbirds don't seem to mind
the light at all. They much prefer it to pecking at frozen groceries..
