Well, THREE turtle heads, actually. I returned to the middle school playing field that gave up the golden locket and sterling Celtic cross on Sunday. I detected areas that I did not hit before and was rewarded with a very pretty .925 marked sterling turtle ring. The ring was hitting the VDI at 82 at 3-4" on the ATPRo. A while later, I got a nice Lincoln cent VDI signal 77-78 at the same depth and pulled out this pretty cross with the dove on it. It is also marked ".925 $ Copyright." It had a broken chain attached to it but I believe the chain is only sterling plated. Also scored about $8.00 in clad for charity.

Thanks for looking, continued Happy Hunting the rest of the year and Merry Christmas! Sub 8-)

I almost didn't look because of fear.

Nice finds Sub!

Nice turtle ring Sub! I'm loving the school/tot lots this year myself.

Congrats on the silver Sub. Very nice title!

Merry Christmas and best of luck in 2016!

That's such a neat couple of finds! I found a ring with the exact same turtle, except I only had one.

Merry Christmas! Subby ole pal!
