So.. Which Kennedy's do you keep?

I usually only look for pre-71 halves. Should I be looking for other halves that have silver in them (i.e. proofs)? How do I know if it is a proof? Are they all minted in San Fransisco?

The S mint mark, and they are shiny as hell... you will know when you see one.

1987p 1987d 2002+ 1970 and prior, all s mint coins(proofs) you will know because they are super shiny. Also anything that catches your eye that you want to keep(foreign, painted halves, magicians coins, etc)

Anything that has a S mint and 1070, both 1987 and anything else that catches your eyes.....Matt

What's the deal with 1987, 2002+ and 1070? I don't have a clue what 1070 stands for!

1070 is supposed to be 1970. They're all hard dates to find and probably worth more than face.
