Soccer'ed---Church'ed---& Rat'ON'ed ON!!!

Hello my T-Net Buddies!
I decided to post one day early this week since I'm confined indoors with rain falling outside!

I've hunted churches, soccer fields, parks, and foreign lands this week ending the day yesterday in Raton, New Mexico!
My finds, although pittlely are assorted for sure! I managed to find two rings; one of which I promptly lost but found it again on a return visit. I've gone a while without finding any pocket knives only to find two of them also this week. Nothing great or fantastic to report but it was fun until my ears played out yesterday due to allergies I suppose. The Kansas 2 mil Sales Tax and Amusement tokens were fun to find as were the 1890 IH and 38s Merc. Along with these items I found probably $15 in clad or more.

holey moley what a view... that is just breath taking for sure... I dont know if I could handle that cold cold weather there..

great assortment of goodies..old coins are always a plus, but I love that skeleton key too..

Dang nice deck! I'd always be torn - Hunting or hot tub, hunting or hot tub? I guess I'd go hunt & bring the finds into the hot tub to clean them off.....

Wow GRB, what a view! I think I would just pick a compass setting and head off into the mountains and valleys with metal detector, backpack , and lunch. I would just keep going. Oh, and of course there is the added prestige of being in Trinidad itself, which of course would make me feel right at home HH M.

When we first moved here to Trinidad two years ago, I took a hike down the mountain not realizing at some point I would have to turn around! Dang near killed The big tummy BummerDude Boy returning home! Ain't doing that again.

I like Colorado just fine but have been eyeballing Hawaii of late.
I don't like roots! It's a good thing my wife feels much the same way.
We've been married for about 14 years now and we've moved no less than 7 times.
It's my hope when I go to the great Detector Depot in the sky someone doesn't plant me deep! Lol!

gorgeous pics, thanks for sharing a part of the world many of us have never seen. Great finds. I always like finding an assortment of stuff like that but of course the old coins are most appreciated.
