Solid 2014 Dime Box

I received my first ever solid new box of coins. Now I am wondering if I should just unroll and dump em or try and trade for a new box. Do you think a bank would trade em out for me even if I've already opened the box? By the way I'm a long time stalker first time poster

Most here do just swap them out- i just open and dump them in a coin counter

As long as you haven't opened up the rolls, you might be able to trade for a new box. If you have a bank you do business with, ask them. The worst thing they can tell you is no. If you can't trade for a new box, you will than have to dump them somewhere. Have you just started crh? If so read the stickeys up top they will give you a lot of information. BTY welcome to TNET.

9 of my most recent 20 boxes are 2014 sparklers, and I'm going to redeposit them in the bank (but not the branch I got them from). Next time I'll look at the dimes through the holes in the boxes first.

Most banks won't have an issue taking the boxes, as long as you leave the box unopened. In my area, boxes have holes at the bottom where you can tell if it is chock full of new coins or not.

I have never had a problem swapping out opened boxes of all new coins, even at banks at which I did not have an account.

Ive traded in some rolls that were unopened before with no problem. I got a full box of 2011 dimes, i actually kept a few rolls because they were practically uncirculated and purdy..lol

Sold roughly 30 boxes anywhere from 250-400 a box on eBay.

Same with the 2011 dims

Well get ready to get a lot more full boxes for the next couple months- I actually stop hunting dimes here shortly becuase its near impossible to get mixed boxes until later in the year- usually from Oct-April youll find thenmixed boxes- mar and on is when the newet boxes come out and until they get mixed in it sucks

Solid boxes of 2014s doesnt bother me all that much. What gets t me is knowing that there is going to be another 900 million to a billion more dimes diluting our averages.
