Looks like a metal mushroom, found it on what use to be an old road now covered with vines and trees. :help:

I added the photo that has the tape measure on it. Are the rectangular things Harmonica reeds? I don't know what the little round things are, I doubt anything worth writing about, just were with that days finds.

Thanks Kuger, I looked at your link for coffee grinders and even though I drink coffee, I have never used a coffee grinder. I don't see the double mushroom thing, you are always right on with your answers, so I am just trying to see how it would fit. I was expecting more for it to be an old car part, since I found it on an old time road, now covered in vines and trees.

Solved: A metal mushroom... Coffee Grinder Crank

Kuger. Would it have been a sidemounted unit like this one. I can see the same shape cover and hopper slot. http://www.oldcoffeegrinders.com/images/3994WrightsvilleHardwareSideMillAA.jpg
I am beginning to get the picture! LOL The "hopper slot" made it sink in.
Kuger has replied to many of my "What is it's", and he knows what he is talking about I just needing more clarification. Thanks a lot!
