Some More GOLD

Went back to my way, way beaten up spot at the beach. Plucked out gold #7 out of there.

Debated where to go detect yesterday...I've got a good 8 spots within 3 miles of home..and each one is slightly different depending on circumstances.

I'm glad I picked ol' reliable because it was...again..after a good 20 hunts there since February!

First target, ... down only about 4" at high tide line..the glimmer of gold! happily not just gold wrapper from candy..which is very often. A nice little pendant...14K weighing 4.2g. An amazing amount of quarters and dimes too...AND for the first time a barely legal 1964 silver dime. The first silver there with many near misses of 1965!

Finished off the hunt with a nice little Jaguar sports car too!

Hi Tony...It was high tide line wet sand..just under a small cut. That's my favorite way to hunt the beaches. Summer time when there's lots of traffic I like to do dry sand also.
