Sorry about the pics.it's hard for me to get back in time this time of year to take them outside (dark). :(
Been a little busy lately but got out today cause weather looks to be going down hill again tomorrow.....& it was time anyway. Purdy much my norm pewter buttons, tombac, another early two piece this one seems it was hollow, cuff button, buckle frags one looks to be silver....etc.Need to get on my pewter buttons & do some catch up on the urethane deal & see if I can match some of these buckle frags up sometime soon.Enjoy.....
Take Care,
Pete, :hello:

Any ideas on this piece?.......makes me think of some kind of seal the way it's shaped & how it can be held between the fingers but it's pewter & I'm not sure maybe just junk (scrap). :icon_scratch: Little odd though I thought.

Thanks Patriot, maybe something will show itself that will be considered big by some but I don't worry much about that anymore, besides it makes it a surprise when they do. ;D If I can keep myself in this early stuff I'm happy with that. 8)

Also wanted to correct myself on the one button it's not 2-piece but three piece. And would be like this one..............

I thought left over from mould :dontknow:

Nice group of recoveries
That last pic in your OP looks like my usual take :laughing7:
Good handful of Crackly pewter & buckle pieces.
I don't mind condition either, old & IDable is what really counts
I got the same 'to do' list :laughing9:
HH

Good morning, never have buddy, never found the other piece/half either.Need to make my annual stop by that site again & see what else is ready to give itself up.I've noticed since we flooded around here this year with the hurricane that the ground has soaked up so much that target are showing again from sites I hit hard before. But only thing spoon wise from that site has been stem pieces but never have found one with the acorn on top so can't say they were from that mold.
Good to hear from you Randy,
Take Care,
Pete, :hello:
Got some Honey do's to do........ ::) Wife say's times up..... :laughing7:
