Have you found that the sites you believe will "pay" better, actually do?

no. actually some of the ones i think will have nothing are loaded, and the ones that "LOOK great" have very little, I stopped judging houses by looks..........The looks of the house has nothing to do with how many kids lived there and lost goodies...lol

the first house in pic #1 was loaded, wheats, silver, indians, large cent..etc, and I figured there would be nothing there, boy was I wrong!

and the houses I "THOUGHT" would be loaded, had very little, pics #8, #9

house in pic #11, there were wheats everywhere I went, but not a single silver, I think I got a buffalo or two there as well

Well at least it isn't just me then. All too often the sites that seem like they should be really good produce very little. Even my own place, dates back to 1780 and historically had people of means living here, has produced very little. I think the problem with my home is that there has been too much work done with improvements (septics, drainage, plantings, stonework etc) over the years. Conversely some of the cellar holes out in the woods produce some of the best finds for me. Many of these places never had electricity, plumbing or other improvements so the ground has not been disturbed very much.
