Hello folks,my treasure cup is full so I thought I would post.

Starting hunting this closed down, bulldozed restraunt/bar near my home a couple of weeks ago. Told Kent my hunting buddy that it would be 28 days without silver if I didnt find any that day,Kent says 'maybe you will find gold',10 minutes later Im digging up a 10k womans ring with a stone in it. When I get home the wife looks at it and says its tanzanite as she was slipping it on her finger which it fit perfectly and was never held again by me.The bar isnt very old but has held many coins managed one silver rosie a 61 and one wheat from the 50s,its covered in trash but close to home and a lot of fun. Been hunting this old drive-in near where I work some evenings. The place is buried in coins along with a million bottlecaps and at least twice that many pulltabs. Its a really old place but the oldest coin Ive found is a 54 wheat. Also pulled a nice little .925 ring out of the jungle of signals. Hunt a few homesites along with some boarded up houses in the ghetto when I get a chance. Have only managed a few wheats this time around along with a great big cross that I guess is made of copper along with a little bitty charm from the Air Force museum over in Ohio. Was desperate for a hunt last week and didnt get home til after dark,it was cold windy and raining, did I mention I was desperate? So I suited up in the rain gear and headed down to the bar for some cold wet miserable digging. Picked a coin here and there out of the trash but was digging anything above iron that was repeatable, really looking to clean this place out before its pavement. Came up on this mid range signal that was solid but kept tailing off so I thought it was some sort of wire,to my suprise I start pulling out a very heavy shiney silver chain. It was dark and I could see there was a hallmark on the clasp but couldnt really read it,sure it said .925 and stuck it in the pouch. I get home and clean the thing up and look at it in the light, the hallmark says 14k,white gold. After I picked myself up off the floor I gave it a good looking over and notice the 10 cent clasp on the 1000 dollar necklace is bent slightly allowing the massive bling to slip unnoticed from the previous owners neck, probably during a drunken brawl in the grass outside the bar. I think its around 22 inches long and must weigh at least several ounces,am considering investing in a postal scale just to see. I posted some pics below, the last pic is Mr.Stewart trying the new metal on for size.

He weighed 103 pounds last month to give you something for scale compared to the necklace and it slipped right on him, thanks for looking...Shoot
