Well I asked the wife if I could go last night for a couple of hours or stress relief (mding) and of course she said NO.
Good thing for me and Baldingboy that it was Opposite Day yesterday and of course on Opposite Day no means yes!
(yay spongebob)
So I was on-call for work and I was hoping for a full night of hunting but that was not to be. I got to hunt an hour and fifty minutes with BB at a new site and found some cool stuff.
First target out of the ground a 1958 Rosie, then almost immediately a 62 rosie! Wow 2 silvers in less than 5 minutes I was stoked. Of course BB was walking around looking like someone had run over his puppy, a tear running down his cheek, repeating over and over "This XLT is broken, this XLT is broken" Then he started digging a hole that I thought was going to be his grave. After the hole was just about big enough for him to lay down in the homeowner came out and smacked him with a broom and made him fill it back in.
Just can't take him anywhere. I told him not to give his XLT beer, but did he listen to me
Anyway as I stated I detected for a short while and found some good stuff. My first play money, and a really cool set of wings. I don't think the wings are Gold but they are gold colored. There is no marking anywhere on them. The pins that would hold the wings onto something are missing.
A key was about the last thing I found. I also found the sign so I guess Vampires won't be a problem.
The beeper went off and had to leave so I let BB go to a site we had hunted in the past right around the corner and of course he detected every square inch of it and got EVERY good find out of the ground. I drove by last night after he was done and let's just say that yard in Cape Girardeau now looks like the movie holes!

Oh yeah I hadn't seem any vampires around this house, I guess this sign explained why. . . .

But then again, we've been married for thirty years!
GREAT hunt, ME!
