I'm not sure if this is exactly it, though. It kind a looks like the inside part of the receiver.

I'm thinking possibly an old insert in the bottom of the receiver. I was thinking possibly part of the bell part.

I figured it was telephone mouth piece, just having someone confirmed it good enough.
