My daughter and I have been following this thread. We are hoping to see the outcome. Our money is on some type of moth.

DM--here's some pics from today--not much change in the eggs. I hope the rain didn't kill the little wormiesDigginman said:My daughter and I have been following this thread. We are hoping to see the outcome. Our money is on some type of moth.

Maybe so . Thanks for the link!Digginman said:
I don't know how long they'll take to hatch. And when they do, I'm sure its gonna be little worms/caterpillars and they'll probably crawl off. We've been watching them and checking everyday, but it might take a few warm days to help speed up the hatching. I think its got to be some kind of moth ,because by looking at the pictures of the eggs, you can see a curled up worm looking thing inside.Mental Granny said:Wonder how long eggs take to hatch ? And that is a great link!
jamey--this has been something cool to us, too. I thought everyone would laugh at us for posting this . My kids just love anything to do with the outdoors and we try to find things to keep them interested in the wonders God puts before us! Even something as small as a bug egg.jamey said:that is very cool.my kids would love that,i can her my daughter telling me what they are. jamey
Funny, bigfish31! Sounds like you need a pool "fix" .bigfish31 said:Those pictures make me want to play pool. Your break.
Yes, it has been a fun project for us. We get up and check it every morning but I think all the rain we've been getting has affected their development. We're still checking and will keep you all posted if anything "hatches" .TnMountains said:That is so cool. Better not take the car for a spin unless you send them down the road. Fun project for the kids and us,lol. Thanks sandcreek.

Yes it would be cool to metal detect Frank Phillips yard. And think of all the stuff that has been thrown in the old Caney River. There are dumps all along the river!! And I can just imagine the things that get washed into the river everytime B'ville floods(which is pretty often!).olepossum said:i used to live in bartlesville wouldnt it be cool to md frank phillips yard and see what you would find and the park down by the river i think it is the canney river they had a amusement park for kids when i lived there and all of the old boarding houses they had if they are still there some were pretty old one i know was built before oklahoma was a state
VERY FUNNY, plehbah! Here's todays picture of the eggs---not much change, but the sun is SHINING and maybe the eggs will hatch soon!plehbah said:This is much easier than maintaining a Triops habitat.
