Every year I update my best frame. I remove some that might have a ding and replace it with a better one. I was moving some around yesterday. All personal finds from private property.

Don’t worry keep looking at the ground and you’ll find plenty. Nobody sees them they think they’re rocks. Just have to train your eyes to be able to see the difference.

Just a reminder for everyone. The ticks and chiggers are out early this year. I found one tick on myself last trip out

I treated my pants with permethrin already. No need yet. It’s 39° right now and the ticks are still snoozing! It won’t be long though.

I don’t have any close ups right at the moment but later I will take some pics of it for you.
I found it in a cow pasture. That owner had some of the biggest bulls you had ever seen. It was amazing I found it before they stepped on it. He had some mean horses to that tried to bite me every time I bent over. I learned I don’t care for farm animals after hunting that property.

It’s hard finding them by color. I know many collectors say never hunt by shape but that’s how I hunt them.

Still getting in the 30s at night but during the day 60-70 so I guess they are waking up now

Ticks might be bad here I picked up one early February this year. And plenty since then still haven’t tried that treatment, really need to do that
