Sometimes one has to go to "Plan B" to find Valentine's Day in December...14K

Hi

Another partly sunny afternoon to be taken advantage of at the beach before that snow starts arriving.

Started in the dry sand as the tide was rolling out...wasn't finding much, so I put "Plan B" into action and began to follow the tide out near a rocky area.

About 5 minutes at this new site, I recovered the 14 K "hearts" bracelet ; about 5 more minutes later, a loud , high sound nearly knocked the headphones off and a large very tarnished ring showed up.

After a while, light rain started and sky was darkening so I headed for home.

ADDENDUM TO ORIGINAL POST :

I decided to check the 14 K bracelet further for a karat marking .It just seemed odd to me that there was no marking on the large part of the clasp.....and sure enough on the tiny movable part that opens the clasp I saw ( with a strong magnifying glass) ..."585"

That's Freemasonry ring you found!
Look around your area where you live and see about a lodge. From the look of it you may have found a old grand masters ring. Then again I can be wrong. Ask around though.
