I mostly used my Scorpion for land hunts at sports fields and schools. I have always said its HOT on rings, and again this year, it proved itself.
No roadmap needed, just a machine hooked directly to the brain via PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE. Know your machine and it will produce! WTG. TTCslowNsteady said:Who wants John for a hunting buddyNot me, I swear he has a roadmap to those rings!
Good job and keep it up!
I don't dig very often at all. I use my ProPointer to locate my targets then pop them out with a screwdriver. Few holes, no problems with landowners and lots of targets found per hour. Most of the rings are in the top 3-4 inches. I don't want a deep seeking machine for rings....only one with a good audio in the upper section of the soil profile. The Scorp works well here.Slugrusher said:Now. How much digging did you do? Or were many of them on the surface or just below?
