those are from when i punched ben franklin in the face for trying to get me to fly a kite in the storm. :laughing7: :laughing7: :laughing7:
i had a pair that were simular but had springs for sides and had a rhodium nose piece

Are they prescription? Did you look through them?

I can't see that they would be for fitting over a mask, because of the nose rests. :dontknow:

Possibly under the mask, that's what mine were like.

I agree they are most likely the military style glasses, now adays they have rubber around the glasses and rubber straps.

Yes, under the mask, LOL, I still have mine and actually carry the pair in my fishing vest that I wear while metal detecting. they do protect the eyes very well while hunting in thick brush and every now and then I seem to have the need to see what I found! Much easier to carry around (mine are bifocals) than a pair of reading glasses.

Reminds me of the spectacles that I have seen in pictures of Teddy Roosevelt. They had no ear pieces and just a strap to keep them on the person and fit by pinching over the nose. Just a guess. Motny
