Spring? not in AK yet (+advice)

I don't know how to say this but your beautiful spring pictures just kill me. Today I still have a yard full of mostly snow and some mud. It rained today, last week it snowed a foot. Highest temp so far this year that I have personally seen =41deg. It normally is regularly 50-55 for high temp around now with the possibility of 60. Well let me tell you I could use some global warming. I won't be able to detect for another week when I usually can go on my birthday which was the 6th. Now don't let me get you down about Alaska as it is a great place, in the summer with nice weather it cannot be beat. We used to travel in the winter but money is too tight now so we stay home.
I will leave out the photos as I don't want everyone depressed. So if anyone is thinking of coming to Alaska pm me if you want any advice.

I have kin here in WV that leave around October and go to Florida, Then around April they come home. Me I absolutly love the colder temps So when july hits here I'm ready to move as far north as I can go. Need Some sunshine I trade yuh from Mid June-Oct1. Just kidding wife & son would never let me leave.

The best thing about AK is I can go there when I want and it's ALWAYS June and/or July. Lingcod opens July 1st so that matters sometimes too. Won't be there this Summer but we're planning on next year. A group of us get together in Homer quite often. Good times!!...especially at the Salty Dawg Saloon!

Yeah I wish I could play snowbird, when I was a kid in Arizona I think half of Michigan would come down for the winter. Today may be a little nicer, I hope. MMM lingcod, been a while since I caught one. Salty Dawg oh yeah spent some time in there years back. Funny seeing it on "Deadliest Catch"

Yeah, a friend of mine that goes to AK with me said he saw the Dawg on Deadliest Catch. I have a few dollar bills hanging on those walls; at least I used to. Maybe some ol' salt needed beer money. We also visit the winery there and the Homer Brewery. They make some GREAT wild berry wines there. Some they combine with rhubard!

28 deg at my house this morning, icy roads yuk. I did see about 15 moose this morning though but had left my camera at home unfortunately. I also saw my first Canada geese of the year too. Please send global warming.
