Got out for a 2 hour hunt after work at a early 1900s house. These are my finds from the first section I hunted. It gave me some clad coins and a toy badge.



Today I returned and rescaned my first of 4 sections 2 more times.I ended up with some more clad and a 1930d wheat bottom picture.Next week section 2

At an old site like that with all the clad I think your clad skipping. Moving around to fast, digging clad and skipping over to the next clad dig missing the silver and older coppers. Slow down, grid an area and clear all the coin hits and you'll dig silver or old copper, however your still off to a good start.

I called spooner p.d. and asked them when was the last time they handed out metal badges.They said no clue but they hand out stickers now.
