This is for everybody, but directed at the Georgia folks in particular and I know it's a long shot, but it can't hurt. Somebody broke into my shop and took this frame of birdpoints off the wall late Saturday night or early Sunday. This is the only picture I had, and the one circled was found in two pieces years apart. Please keep an eye out for them when you're around town, sales, ebay, Craigs, wherever, although I think these were stolen for the SOB's personal collection. All personally found over 25+ years of looking. What sucks is that it was a customer or "friend" that has been in my shop before and spotted them. Then I noticed yesterday that two pictures of my children that hung beside the points are gone too. Don't know if he grabbed them in the dark wanting to make sure he got the points or if he's some kind of weirdo. I really got mad after that.

Well if it was me Id check all of the pawn shops in the area and let them know it was my frame just in case they try to pawn them.

Got the two main places in Milledgeville on the lookout for them...Was in Howard's Pawn in Macon, big store, good many artifacts, might be worth checking. Sorry man

I'd be mad as hell too! I've passed that picture you posted to everyone I know and now see it on Facebook sites as well.

GOOD LUCK HOPE YOU GET YOUR COLLECTION AND MIND BACK, I CANT STAND THIEVES JUST HAD SAME SH&* 'HAPPEN TO ME, "GODS WATCHING"

This is terrible in so many ways I don't know what to say! I hate a thief! About 20 years ago I lived in a different place but while I was at work someone broke in my house and stole all of my guns and rifles that my Daddy had left me and my son when he died. I was insane with anger!!! Gave the sheriff's deputy the serial numbers and he didn't even fingerprint the gun cabinet. And the thief had throw them all in a quilt my sweet Momma had made me and took it too. Felt violated in the worst way and my son who was so close to my Daddy went out on the back porch and wailed with grief! I truly hope you will be able to get everything back and there's good advice in this thread, it's hard to trust when you think it's someone you know. Payback is a mofo and it always comes back!

...he didn't even fingerprint the gun cabinet...

I found out a while back that there's not even a fingerprint kit or anybody trained to use one in our county. That's a sad state of affairs, that I'm left to do all the investigating, if any gets done. I'm sorry your family had to go through such an ordeal, but you're right about the payback. It may not be at our hands, but it will come about. Galatians 6:7

It makes me mad that your beautiful frame and your childrens' pictures were stolen...some sick person out there and needs to be taught a lesson!

Sorry for your loss of your points and especially the photos of your children. Over the years some large artifact collections have been stolen. I live in Crisp county and my shed has been broken into so many times I quit replacing the lock. If you have a collection you need to keep it to yourself, but if you run a business and somebody comes in and sees your artifacts and then comes back and rips you off, that's despicable. It's bad enough if a stranger steals from you but somebody who you know and they know you, that's terrible. Hope the police catch them, but I had the same experience a few years ago. Somebody broke the windows out of my back door and I call the police and they said don't touch anything and then he walked around to the back porch with his fingerprint kit and didn't take the first fingerprint. Somebody came into my house last Feb and stole my checking account number and ordered some checks and wrote some in Thomasville under an assumed name and I've never heard anything since the police report. So much stuff going on the police just can't keep up with it. I'm praying they will recover your points and you and your family will be safe.
