I’ve always wondered this
Do you concentrate hunting by tall buildings?
Is it worth trying the beach lined by one story dwellings?
I figure search where there are the most people

Yes... for modern / recent drops look for the areas that have the highest concentration of people on a regular basis.

Whatever beach you go to remember, beaches have zones, memorize where these zones are and hunt the zones. Zone where mothers sit in shallow water to play with the little ones, they don't take off their jewelry because they think they won't lose it. Waist deep zone where people stand and talk is another good zone to hunt. Towel line is another zone as are the beach chairs and umbrella zone.

Well, due to the storms last year, you won't see st augustine beach at high tide. Low tide yeilds some of it but not like before. Head south of the pier and you'll be better off. Good luck 👍
