Hello T-Netters,

I found one of these broken buckle (?) pieces on an old wagon road here in SW Missouri two months ago. Found another piece nearly identical to the first one about 100 yards away on the same road. I can't find any stampings on them. I was hoping that someone may recognize the distinct triangle shape on the edge. This wagon road was first used as a mail route in the 1830's, through the Civil War , and as a freighter road up until the automobile. The other object found today is a "Towers Wire Fastened" rain slicker button, circa 1870's through 1890's as best as I can determine. Thanks for your help! Sub 8-)
