I have found hundreds that look like that, they don't make em like they used to.

If my Zincoin's don't look like that out of the ground I'm surprised.

I take all of my targets, trash included,but..............................I can't stand diggin a stinkin lincoln......throw it back on top of the ground!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This one I saved.:laughing7:

I would wrap that up in a roll so fast it would make a CRH's head spin.

They sure don't make em' like they used to that's for sure.

Thats even worse than most I dig, that must have read about what mid-pull-tab range?

When I was a kid I remember doing a science experiment in school where we would nick a penny through the copper and soak it in some acid that would dissolve the zinc. The next day you had a perfect hollow shell made of thin copper. Every time I dig a penny that looks like this I think of that. What the heck are detectorists of the future supposed to find if they just dissolve?!?!?!

got over three hundred of them that look that bad or worse... hate em

Just think in 25 years people will be posting pictures of the copper pennies they dig because it will be rare to dig a penny that hasn't dissolved in the ground.

I get a ton of those lovlies, aswell. I keep em and planning to take them to the coinstar and see just how many get through...hehe
