Strictly Coinshooting

In purchase price up to $500, would you gents please give me some ideas as to which brand and model of detector will give me the most bang for my bucks for coinshooting? Thank you for any suggestions you can give. Happy hunting.

With that money, I'd buy a Tesoro Silver uMax and get the 5" sniper coil and 3x18 clean sweep coil to go with it. I'd also buy a Garrett Propointer. Pick yourself up a screwdriver for digging and a nail pouch from a hardware store and you're good to go.

I would go for a used minelab x-terra 50 or 70 or a new 505 series with the 6" HF coil also I would try to get a good used Whites M6.

I think some one is trying to make a bad joke....... There is no ..08 .. My self i have a minelab Sovereign and the Garrett AT Pro and Garrett 1500.......

It is the Omega 8000 by Tecknetics. A very good coin shooter, but I prefer my Teknetics Gamma 6000 for the same purpose. an outstanding machine for the 500 bucks I gave for it, without some of the EMI sensitivity issues some people are having with the O8..
