Got out yesterday and looked a while. We had some wind here but not too bad. It actually felt great out, I love this time of year, had a Turkey fly almost directly over my head, it came out of a tree top on the ridge above me and it veered off at the last second. It was flying directly at me, pretty cool to s ee. The small, narrow base on this point is a little different than the stemmed variety I usually find. It's also thinner than most if them. The drill was a bummer, it looks like a fresh break. Would have been nice. I also found an old dump yesterday and found some old soda bottles and a blue Mason jar. 20200329_124819.jpg 20200329_134432.jpg 20200329_134513.jpg 20200329_124523.jpg

Wow, it's not loading the pics, don't know what's up with that. I will try again. I guess it's not going to.

I'm not sure on the material, I am not familiar with ryollite. We may have it here, but I'm not aware of it. I'm not very knowledgeable on lithic types MA smucker, but there is some vortex left on one side of it that is a lighter color if that tells anything.
