We foolishly trusted the UK weather.. glorious sun to start the day.. but shortly after lunch it chucked it down, luckily i was able to reach the car… himself dived into the woods so not only got soaked, but also nearly stung to death by the stinging nettles… obviously i found that very amusing!!

But to treasure… super buckle, then a button hole pin thing… silver cuflink, another buckle, 2 livery buttons (rutland) 2 loops, 2 tack pins, 2 thimbles, ammo, button, bits, more buttons, 2crusty Roman Coins, and ta da.. my broken hammered … finally we pick up lots of pottery… however this one is a bit different… can only image its some kind of early Roman tea strainer 😆 xx

That looks like a beautiful day and nice dirt for digging. Too bad it rained you out. Were the two pieces of the silver cufflink found together (same hole)?\

Great finds. Congratulations! Too bad about the rain. Nice pictures, too!

Congrats.
First buckle is 17th C Spur Buckle.
There is a Hunts button upside down in a picture on its own (pic 10) which is a partridge.(bird)

That peacock button is pretty flash too! :icon_thumright:
