Sunday's hunt

I went out Sunday evening. I had everything ready at 3:30, but had to put it off for a few hours because of heat ...over 100 on my thermometer.
I guess its time to find a new park a lot of junk including a dozen or more lids from tennis ball cans. They are aluminum, about 3 inches in diameter with a strong signal. It was pretty much a shut out: 1 quarter(1981), five pennies, and a small piece of metal that detected as a 90, I thought I had found my first silver piece. Also a blister from trying to dig in this hard dry KY dirt, and ALOT of sweat

Nothing like one of those character building trips, paying the dues has to count for something to the metal detecting gods. Good luck on a great find next time...Ryan

Best place to be is in the junk...can be a pain, but some rewards there!! Keep at it and the good stuff will come!
