I obtained permission yesterday to hunt the grounds of a church built in 1848. The groundskeeper, (who lives there), said he's been taking care of the property for the last 18 years, and nobody's ever received permission to hunt during that time.
But I kinda have the feeling that someone has gotten to it before that, due to the lack of old coins found yesterday.
After about 6 hours, here's the best coins I found. 2 Mercs, a 44 and a 17. A 1907 Injun. A 34 Buffalo Nickel. And what appears to be whats left of a large cent. It's totally unidentifiable, but it's the EXACT same size and thickness as my previous Large Cents. Also about 50 clad coins.
Thanks for looking.
