Sunray X-1 Pinpointer for E-Trac

ebaY; though some joker currently lists one and thinks he has a gold-mine with his X-1 and has a stratospheric price.

Yes, Sunray quit making them. Why? That's a question many would like to know. They still make them for other detectors.

I think I will change my name to: The Googler... lol

Found this info as to why sunray quit making them for the minelabs.

Sunray to stop making probes for Minelab detectors

And
X-1 probes

I saw that back when the news hit, but I have trouble believing it. They still build them for other units, so the parts for the X1 can't be that much higher than the Y1 or any other model. They refuse to mount an X1 on a customer supplied shaft and they will no longer repair non-warrantied units, which the customer would be paying for.

So again, why are still building every model except the X1 for the E-Trac and Explorers?

Well I am not to sure, but I made a post about my explorer saying the battery is too low and it shuts off, but the batteries were brand new so I started tinkering with it, I believe that the x-1 is the cause, of course, if it is indeed messing up the detector...good luck ever getting them to admit it, the backlash would be a riot, that is unless somebody can prove it.
Next few days I plan on taking the x-1 and the detector apart and doing some testing...lil probing here, attach fluke multimeter there, dangit plug in the damn oscilloscope...lol
