Hi All!
I found an unusual bottle cap that I'd like to share with you.
I know, we aren't really into bottle caps but this one is awesome!
It is a Paul Jones "Antique" Whiskey Decanter Cap circa-1917 or earlier! It was, of course, crushed flat from being in the ground for a hundred years.
I got a great hit as I swung the coil over it and was just going to let it go! My wife spoke up and said "You should dig that up!"
After we dug it up, we got on the internet and were able to identify the cap and then was able to purchase the exact Bottle, Cork and Cap on ebay!
My property was old farmland growing sugar beets before the neighborhood was built mid century! This is about five or so miles from the beach!
You never know what you'll find in your own backyard!
