There is a dig up there. But they didn't go very deep, or find anything worth the effort so far as I could tell.
It's all tuffa with thin veins of calcite....no caliche in sight.

Did you take any pictures of the “dig”?

I do have a couple , but they are older prints and my scanner's not working any more.
I'll probably buy a new one when the printer runs out of ink next time, but I just put new hivol cartridges in it a few days ago.
