First, my condolences to our brothers and sisters suffering through snow and ice in the Northeast. Don't worry, I will be quietly envious of your colonial and CW finds later this summer. But here, it was 70 degrees with a 25 MPH crosswind today, I could barely hear my pinpointer, but I was in short sleeves! I hit some local schoolyards with the ATPro today, and it dredged up over $3.00 in clad. On the way back to my truck, I was hap-haphazardly swinging the coil alongside a raised tot lot barrier and my earphones went "BANG." I looked down and thought I saw a candy wrapper or wet leaf. Upon closer inspection, I saw it was a shiny rock formation,
, so I ran the coil over it again and it hit big. Picked it up to see it was, in fact, an artist-made crystal pendant with a sterling silver band and loop attached. Very unique and pretty.
Rounded out the day with a plated dollar-sign money clip, a tennis shoe earring, and a small plated heart pendant and chain. Schoolyards never fail to disappoint, but you have to dig everything! Thanks for looking, happy hunting to all. Sub
