Sweet Seated and a few relics

Today I went back to the spot where Kenpa got the reale 2 weeks ago. That day was a bust for me as I left empty handed. Anyway I decided to go back because---well that's just what we detectorist do, you know the fever and all...I had researched the spot and Its history went back to the late 1700s. Today I took JohnnyMc with me. An hour into the hunt I had picked up a couple of relics when John called, said he just got an 1876 Indian in sweet shape, First thing came to mind I gonna get skunked again. Half an hour later BAM...that silver beauty popped out. 1887 seated dime. I also got the pin about 4 feet from that...Not what we expected from this site but a nice find. I got the blob top when I was digging an iron signal, it was about 3" under the soil and is in perfect condition..

Thanks for looking TnT

Nice finds! Congrats. The bottle captured my attention, F & S Beer? Any idea on the age of the bottle. That might be worth a couple of bucks.

Re: Sweet Seated and a few relics

Wow! The seated dime is super sweet!

The SG badge may be from the Little Orphan Annie Secret Guard club (early 40's).

Re: Sweet Seated and a few relics

Dime is nice, other finds a bonus, but the find of the day for me would be the blob bottle, what a great display item!

Beautiful seated :P

Re: Sweet Seated and a few relics

I think the bottle would be from Fuhrmann & Schmidt brewing, which was there in Pennsylvania, started in 1906.

Nice coin and relics. That looks like my kind of hunting ground.
