Sweet stack of silver for me on xmas eve! Near solid roll! Pic included

Went into a bank where I don't hold an account, asked for halves & the teller pulls out a sandwich bag full of clanky halves. I love that sound. Even from across the counter I could tell they were what I was looking for. Made some small talk about the kids collecting coins & couldn't wait to get out & see what I had when I got home.

The total was 35 40% & 3 90%. Only 2 clad in the bunch.

I had a nice find yesterday myself from a bank on my way home from work - a '52D BF from $3.50 in loose halves. That is my 100th 90% half I've found since I started keeping track of my finds on 9-1-11.

Wow, 100 90%? I've gotten exactly 5. I also picked up 40 Ikes from the bank next to this one but they are all clad. Very nice looking, mostly bicentennials. I'm gonna plop them on craigslist & see if anyone is interested.

I've had some luck selling some clad Ike's on CL lately myself. I've sold two different lots for a little less than a 10% profit to the same guy in the past month or two but he told me last time that he probably wouldn't be interested in buying any more so I may have trouble selling any more in the future since he was my only buyer.

But others have had better luck selling Ike's on CL than me - so good luck to you.
