They said on the news last night out state is awaiting a shipment of Tamiflu today!

Then ya go to the reports from some Dr.'s saying its getting weaker with each person don't worry but, dont touch stuff, wash your hands, stay home if you even feel a little bad .... it will be gone soon !

To a different Dr. saying by Friday we will know if this needs to change to a Pandemic status or not! And we will find schools all over closing but, you will still have to go to work. Just depends on who your hearing!

if this flu follows the path of the spanish influenze in 1918...disinformation is not what we need.

the spanish flu hit the us early in 1918, summer went by and people forgot....just a local flu in the barracks...
then winter came...50 million dead later people were a bit humbled, and forgot to "blame" anyone.

this is the warm up...people who would rather insult mexicans might wish to find the facts to how flu is transmitted...

winter is the tell on this disease...not where it came from, or who had sex with animals.

It is a tragic irony of the human experience that we can be so short-sighted in our concerns as to worry about huddled masses of humans in emergency shelters after a hurricane as being a breeding ground for diseases, yet not give one whit about huddled masses of animals clustered together in large farming operations. Come on! It's not the genetically identical animals that we should worry about being wiped out!

In the old days, we didn't have farming operations this large, and due to less ease of transportation, a disease would've already had more of a natural self-containment as a result.

It won't be the Environment that proves to be the demise of humankind--it will be the way we produce our food supply. And that is just Damned sad.

now, the entire civil defense of the cold war was set on this principle...after 911, many current chem/bio warfare practices were set on this standard...any civilians issued gas masks like the police and fire personnel?

If the swine flu had started here at a modern mega farm I would tend to agree with Buckle boy but it started in a very rural area of Oaxaca Mexico were people raise a pig out back, usually the offspring of the pig that they ate/ sold last year.

that isnt correct. The flu started at a big Farm that was owned by a US Company. People had been complaining for the last two years around the area about resp issues.

Of course I cannot prove it. I have the same information you have. I'm just saying
