Switzerland (Florida) WWII Airfield and Bombing Range

Spent lots of time wandering around here a couple years ago. You can still find lots of test bombs (inert) and other debris.



This photo is from March of 1945 when the site was actually used as an airfield.



This is when the site had been converted to a bombing range.

I had the opportunity to detect an old Nike missile site in the late 90s.
