Hit the tavern today again got a nail/iron signal but had a good quiet high tone deep figured it was just a nail but dug it cause it sounded good found nail then this beauty came out of the dirt I dug out couldn’t believe it I love it !! So glad I dug it I was gonna skip it but something told me to dig it also found a rough king George 11 copper another 18 th century horse harness guide piece xxx and a lot of nails iron and other stuff the horse thing is a pewter button anyone know anything about it?

Some of the pottery appears to be salt glazed Staffordshire pottery, or English translation ca 1760's or so. Nice stuff going on there, keep at it.

These cause a little debate - Mil or not Mil. I think civilian 18th C. A nice rare button, that I've never seen a reference for.

Very nice KGII and I won't pretend to know what that button is but it looks really old and probably has some great history to it. Congrats on digging those iffy signals. It's always a pleasant surprise when they turn out to be something great!

Scrappy yes I am sure of it but it doesn’t seem to want to present itself lol Trying my hardest tons of nails and other iron stuff yesterday went for two hours tried the equinox finding tons of great sounding nails switched to deus didn’t find anything great found about fifty more nails n pieces that weren’t included in photo
