TD Bank & Halves... ?

TD Bank & Halves... ?

Good Afternoon All,

Does anyone here order Halves from a TD Bank? Here in the NE, I have told by just about every teller I encounter at TD "we do not have any halves and we can't even order them". I had one tell me she would order a box for me. I called to check up on the order and spoke with the head teller and she said there is not even an option in the ordering system to order Halves... Didn't know if anyone has ordered halves from a TD recently.

I've been told that TD stopped ordering halves about 1.5 year ago. I hear the same thing, it's not even an option for them.

At this point I wouldn't want their halves anyway because they are one of my main dump banks.

This is what they have turned into for me too... A Dump. Sucks that the CC (Penny Arcade) only takes $100 to a bag at a time.

I find that even with only filling at $100, the penny is still way faster than other machines that hold 1K. Plus I love the potential of finding some rejected silver.

I do have a few in NJ that I use that even though it stops at $100 per bag, they just leave the bag in there for 5 fills and fill it at $500. I had one branch in NY actually adjust it while I was there to fill it at $500.

I agree it is a faster machine... I will have to look into the increasing count thing. Thanks.

They will not order halves, but will supply with any other denomination(pennies nickels dimes and quarters... at least for me)
But if you get to know the people in there, if you see silver, they will let you pick out the silver, at least they let me(it only happened once)
