TD Bank policy no bank boxes of halves

I searched and didn't see this covered. I just got off the phone with TD Bank. I ordered 2 boxes of dimes but when I asked to order 2 boxes of halves they refused. They said it is not TD's policy to not order any boxes of halves because of the EVIL CRHers, well they didn't call us evil but they said it is because people were ordering halves and search for silver.

It is just my local TD branch or has anyone else run into this?

Same here, no TD banks will order halves. I have gotten boxes from them and they have just been dumped rerolled coins from other CRHers. However, they will order pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters, and they have fast coin-counting machines at some branches.
