Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
Just received my metal detector for my B-day, but it was the wrong one. The wife got me the Teknetics T2 ES LTD instead of the Garrett AT Pro/ Gold. Just need some advice if i should keep it or swap it out? Took it for a test run with the 5" coil and was not impressed. Tested it on some silver coins i found with my Delta but for some reason it jumps all around and never gives me the same ID number... Bought the coil covers from the factory which is literary 5 miles from where i live.

These are some of my best finds these past two months with my Delta....

I gave up hinting, I just tell them out right exactly what it is and places it can be found. When all else fails rip the page out of the catalog and give it to whom ever is buying you the gift. They are trying to make YOU happy right?

If hunting in the water/rain is a big factor to you, then send it back and get the AT-Pro....if not keep the T2 ...i`d say it `s where you want to hunt.

No surprise. IT'S A AWESOME MACHINE!!!!!!! HH...

The Boost process on the T2 SE is great for heavy weeds and cut corn fields ...gives you the extra inches you need to hunt them.

By those pics it sure looks like a keeper to me! Check out Russ Balbirona on YouTube, he's got a bunch of great Teknetics videos

Thanks you treasurcosteric, i'll check out his videos!

No prob - he's a really cool guy and has had articles published etc. His company RBDetectors specializes in Fisher & Teknetics. He also did a great interview on "Let's Talk Metal Detecting & Treasure Hunting" - its a great blog you can Google
